For many of tinnitus’ victims, just a moment or two of peace and quiet would be incredible. Unfortunately, without the right treatment information at their fingertips, these folks will often suffer every minute of every day, with no hope in sight. Of course, it doesn’t have to be like this, as you will soon discover.
When most of us think of finding “peace and quiet,” one of the first things that tend to come to mind is relaxation. This actually turns a lot of people off because they think of relaxation techniques as requiring too much effort in order to implement. It’s actually quite paradoxical when you think about it.
Why?
Because it DOES take effort to relax! You have to do this, this, and this. “Change your position.” “Sit quietly.” “Inhale for 7 counts, hold for 7, and exhale for 7.” This stuff doesn’t just happen to you. You have to make it happen. That said, you can take comfort in knowing that not all relaxation requires work. You can experience much-needed tinnitus relief without doing much of anything.
